Easy Crust-less Quiche

CHEESY SAUSAGE QUICHE (I adapted this recipe from cooks.com to be crust less and suit my individual needs.)

1 pound Italian sausage
1 diced onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar (YUM! My favorite!)
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F. Brown sausage in skillet and add onion and pepper to sauté. Combine cheese in sausage, pepper, and onion. Spread evenly in pie or casserole dish. Thoroughly combine eggs, spices, and evaporated milk and pour into the dish over the sausage mixture. Place on a cookie sheet (to prevent spills on the floor of your oven) and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until brown and set.
