Homemade Deodorant

Did you know that mainstream deodorants contain Aluminum Zirconium and prevent your body from sweating out toxins? Natural deodorant can help your body to do it’s natural thing, without the stank! Here’s one of my favorite recipes.

Supplies:
One empty deodorant dispenser (if you have a used empty one it’ll works great!)
Jar label
Stirring spoon

Ingredients:
3 Tbs. Shea Butter (softened)
1/4 Cup Arrowroot powder or cornstarch
1 Tbs. Baking soda
1/3 Cup coconut oil
2 Tbs. Melted bees wax
About 30 drops total of essential oils of choice

Favorite oils are frankincense, lavender, Tea Tree, Purification, Melrose. Add a couple of drops of peppermint if you like that cooling feeling.

Directions: Put all ingredients except essential oils in the jar and mix well with spoon. Add a little more arrowroot powder or cornstarch if consistency is too runny(remember that when the bees wax hardens it will help keep all the ingredients together). After blending well add essential oils of choice. Place in deodorant dispenser and let harden over night.
