Oh, Hi!

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here to say hello and share something new. I promise though, I have a good excuse 😉 (read to the end to find out!)

I don’t think you’ll disagree when I say that things have been interesting for all of us this past year, correct? With all of the controversial topics flying around on social media and hundreds of thousands of people losing their small businesses because of the shutdown etc. I think it’s safe to say we are glad to be in the new year.

Can you believe February is already basically over though? People always told me time flies even faster as you get older, but I never really knew what that meant until I am living in the middle of it watching my nearly 2 year old daughter grown in leaps and bounds everyday!

One of the reasons I haven’t been on here much is because in the beginning of January I decided I wanted (or rather, needed) to take a step away from social media. It was overwhelming to me, to say the least, and as much as I loved using Instagram and Facebook to connect with you all, I decided that for the health and wellbeing of myself and my family I was going to delete social media off of my iPhone and only check it every once in a while from a secure browser on my laptop.

So, here I am to say that I am going to showing up less on social media but hopefully still showing up here to share things I’ve learned and things I love. I may not make a new blogpost on here every day, maybe not even every week, however, I am going to try and shift my focus from all of my social media platforms to this website! I would so appreciate your help with getting that word out by you sharing this post. Simply click the “share this” button below and I would be forever grateful!

Alllright…so I promised I had a good excuse for not being on here much. Wouldn’t you agree that stepping away from social media that wasn’t bringing much positivity into my daily life is just that?!? A good reason indeed. I urge you to consider what social media is doing for you right now. Is it lifting you up or is it bringing you down?

BUT WAIT! That wasn’t the really good reason for my lack of presence…

That was it! I’m pregnant and we are so so excited to welcome another baby in September. I have been super exhausted in my first trimester and took extra time to nap, spend quality time with my daughter, and read. Oh and did I mention NOT be on social media?

I hope you have a blessed day, and thanks for hanging in there with me 🙂
