My birthday is coming up soon and I am contemplating what I am going to make for my birthday dessert. In the beginning of this 2018 new year I started a lifestyle/eating habit to promote healing in my body and more specifically, no inflammation. It’s been a TON of work, but it has been eye opening as well.
Fortunately, while eating this way, it’s still pretty easy to find some good Paleo recipes for sweets and birthday desserts. Kelsey Ale has a great cookbook of compiled sweets that I love so far. Even though I am off dairy for a while and most nuts, I am able to use almost all the recipes in this book without having to tweak them too much.
So for my birthday dessert I have decided I am going to make some delicious looking mint brownies, and some carrot cake. It’s kind of an odd combo, but I feel like both of these recipes will suit my birthday needs nicely!
Right now (I’m not sure how long it’ll last so snatch it up), you can get Paleo Sweets, Kelsey Ale’s cookbook, for free! All I had to do was pay for shipping. It has been totally worth it for me, and I got it in the mail after a few weeks of placing my order. Get yours too! Click here.
